Tourists in Tokyo

I don’t think I make a very good tourist guide. I tried to take Rachel to the zoo on Tuesday but it was closed. Tonight my sister wanted to see the Rainbow Bridge. She had seen this in Lost and Translation and wanted to see it lit up in the dark. Well, I did get her to the bridge but you can’t really see it properly when you are standing on it.

I think the hotel from Lost In Translation is just round the corner from the Mori Tower, so maybe you should take her there too.
I had a quick nosy round, and it was very flash.

And I thought you were good at research!

What I assume was the Rainbow Bridge was nicely visible from the pier where you get the tour boat up to Asakusa, and obviously, then, the first object of note as the boat got under-way.

Were there lots of people in the “Lost in Translation” hotel pointlessly talking to each other for hours? And Andrew W told me it was just French films that did that! Award winning? Pah!

When I heard that the film had neither spaceships, robots nor monsters, I lost all interest in watching it.

I really liked “Lost in Translation”.
